Of ‘War’ & ‘Forgiving’

Friday is here and the screens will see a clash of fire and love…

With the release of two different movies today, the audience has got a variety in hand (though limited, we say).

Although the ‘Luv Storys’ season is still on and going fine, ‘Red Alert - The War Within’ and ‘Milenge Milenge’ do stand a chance to prove themselves.

Having variety of actors in the film, ‘Red Alert’ presents an action theme, backed with serious social issue. It is inspired from a real-life story of a farm labourer who in order to have a proper livelihood gets himself entangled in the web of Naxalites.

Bannered under Star Entertainment Pvt Ltd, ‘Red Alert - The War Within’ is directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by T P Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal. The film stars Suniel Shetty, Naseruddin Shah, Vinod Khanna, Sameera Reddy, Bhagyashree, Ayesha Dharker, Seema Biswas, Gulshan Grover, Aashish Vidyarthi and others.

On the other hand, ‘Milenge Milenge’ brings the real life ex-lovers on reel. Supposed to have released five years back, the film shows Shahid and Kareena of those days when he was just a chocolate boy and she was a chubby baby. Although the makers of the film maintain that they have modified the film to suit the contemporary age, the feel and the songs give nostalgia of bygone years.

It’s a tale of two lovers who meet after few years, at a point of time when they are well-settled in their respective lives. The two then undertake one last attempt to find one another just before they get married to someone else. Directed by Satish Kaushik the movie is produced by Boney Kapoor, under the banner of S K Films Enterprises.

Now let’s see which movie wins the “war” and which film ko “milega” box office ka maal…
