Telugu blockbuster and revolutionary movie 'Magadheera' is titled as 'Mannadhi Mannan' in Tamil.
Directed by S S Rajamouli, the movie stars Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Tej in the lead along with Kajal Agarwal. The movie is an all-time hit in Telugu.
It is a story of rebirth and love which has been shown in a spectacular way.

In the past, Telugu blockbuster 'Arundhathee' was released in Tamil and it evoked similar response to what it received in Telugu. Tamil audiences have always encouraged unique and different scripts. The producers of 'Mannadhi Mannan' would hope to see the movie be a super hit as it was in Telugu.

Gautham Menon considers Atharva
Murali's son Atharva who will be introduced in the film 'Baana Kathadi' releasing only in August is already a big name. The handsome young man is flooded with offers even before his first film's release. But Murali who has seen the very top and the very bottom of the Tamil film industry during his career is prudent and guarding his son sensible. Murali is not in hurry and will accept only genuine and meaningful offers for his son.
One such offer is already on Atharva's way much to the delight of Murali. Gautham Menon who gave the biggest break to actors like Madhavan, Suriya and Silambarasan with his films has shown interest in Atharva.
The talks are on and Murali couldn't have asked for better at this stage of his son's career. Atharva is also very lucky to catch the eye of a director who is nothing but classy.

Sathyaraj, the tough cop
D Ramesh, who made his foray in Kollywood directing Vijayakanth- starrer 'Ulavuthurai' and later wielded the megaphone for 'Jananam' starring Arun Vijay is back after a brief interval.
This time, he is directing Sathyaraj for a film titled 'Kalavaram'. The movie is based on a real life incident that hit the headlines in Tamil Nadu a few years ago
Says Ramesh, "The film provides a solution for violence. Sathyaraj plays a Deputy Commissioner of Police who starts his career with firm belief on ahimsa and dharma. But he is forced to take up arms and fights injustice".
"The film has no romance and will have only two songs. It is being shot in and around Chennai and Madurai," he adds. Popular Telugu actor Thanikala Bharani plays the baddie.
Says Sathyaraj, "I am extremely happy to be part of such a film that has an interesting storyline. Though I am busy acting in 10 films now, impressed by the story, I chose to complete this first".

Nandaa: Four at a time
Bouncing with vim and vigour after Shankar's production venture 'Eeram' is Nandaa. The actor now has four films in his hands and says they will be releasing one after another.
While 'Ananthapurathu Veedu', which too is produced by Shankar, will hit the screens this week, the other three films in which Nandaa is acting are 'Vellore Maavattam', 'Jayakumaranin Thirai Kadhai' and 'Puzhudhi'
"All the four are close to my heart as they are totally different from each other. I am hopeful that these movies will take me to the audience in a big way," the actor says with all optimism.
Nandaa, who debuted as an actor with Suriya starrer 'Mounam Pesiyathey', adds: "I want to establish myself as an actor who could do varied roles. I don't want to repeat myself as a usual commercial hero."

'Kavalar Kudiyiruppu' is now 'Kadhalar Kudiyiruppu'
Director A M R Ramesh of 'Kuppi' fame has opted for a name change for his forthcoming venture 'Kavalar Kudiyiruppu'. He has now christened the film as 'Kadhalar Kudiyiruppu'.
"Since the title 'Kadhalar Kudiyiruppu' sounded more apt for the movie than the earlier one, I have renamed it now. The film is getting ready for release," the filmmaker said.
On the film, he said, "Unlike 'Kuppi', we have added some commercial elements in this movie. But they would be part of the script. Telugu actor Anish Tejeshwar and Shruthi are doing the lead roles."
James Vasanthan is scoring the music. "He (James) had turned down nearly 30 offers after 'Subramaniapuram', because he wishes to score music only for meaningful films. I was glad that he agreed to do my film as soon as he heard the script," said Ramesh.
A gold medalist from the film institute in Chennai, Ramesh said, "I want my films to be entertaining and at the same time make the audience think."
