Putting an end to a guessing game as to what would be Vasanthabalan's next, an official announcement was made today that 'Aravaan' is the title of the 'Angadi Theru' director's forthcoming venture and it would have Aadhi as the protagonist.
T Siva of Amma Creations would produce the film, which would have Dhanshika and Archana Kavi as heroines. Pasupathy would play a pivotal role, a press release said.
Set in the backdrop of Tamil Nadu of the 18th century, the film would mark the entry of popular singer Karthik as the music composer. Siddarth of 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and 'Kungamapoovum Konjum Puravum' fame would wield the camera.
"Aravaan is the name which symbolises valour. So we zeroed in on it as the film's title," says Vasanthabalan.
