Even as Roja has started her second innings in cinema with Telugu films like 'Sambho Siva Sambho' (remake of 'Naadodigal'), 'Golimar' and Tamil movie 'Kaavalkaran', her director husband R K Selvamani too is set to follow the suit.
According to sources, the filmmaker is currently busy penning script for his forthcoming venture. "A popular production house will produce the film and it will be a Selvamani kind of movie with things appealing to the present generation audience", they say.
Explaining the reason behind Selvamani taking a break from making films, sources say, "He holds an important position in Tamil film directors association and is very busy with works related to the association for the past few years."
"It is Roja who has changed his mind now," they say and add: "the actress convinced her husband to direct a film again saying his talent should not be wasted and he could effectively do works related to the movie and association simultaneously."
Selvamani is a name to reckon with political thrillers like 'Captain Prabhakaran', 'Arasiyal', 'Rajamuthirai' and 'Makkal Aatchi'.
